The Midterm Bloodbath is going to be the Dem’s D-Day, and after that the fall of MAGA will become inevitable to anyone with half a brain.
Carlson, and a few others, realize that, and are trying to get in front of it, presenting themselves as the smart ones who realized that MAGA had become dangerous, and broke away. They are hoping that in the post-MAGA era, they will be seen as the reasonable ones who helped guide Conservatives away from MAGA, and into whatever lie they’ll tell to replace it.
Tucker is just getting into position for the next 20 years of his career, doing essentially the same thing, spewing propaganda. He’s pretending that he doesn’t know that he’s likely to end up in prison for a decade or so.
MAGA won’t reject their “values” so they’ll flock with the next charismatic leader. They are not going nowhere.
And just who is that “charismatic” leader? Nobody is going to release the endorphins like Trump did. Anyone else will be a poor imitation.
They can’t even decide who has a decent shot in 2028. There is literally not a single viable candidate to take over for Trump, and that’s by design. MAGA wants to set it up so there is no natural successor to Trump, so all they can do is elect him again, no matter what the Constitution says.
Then when he gets 98% of the vote, they’ll say that the people have spoken, and have demanded that Trump remain our president, the Constitution Be Damned!
Next candidate will emerge. Won’t be like Trump but will carry all the values he had to win, mainly hate for the brown gay trans muslim commies.
I like your optimism. Unfortunately we have to get past the fact that the current regime is setting up the option to cancel the vote. And why do you think they are replacing so many top military leaders? November will be very interesting without a doubt.
The Midterms are impossible to rig, that’s why they are pulling out all the voter suppression tactics, none of which are working, because the Dems are actually paying attention, and addressing the issues as they arise, unlike during the Obama or Biden administrations, where they averted their eyes, and literally pretended that nothing was going on, as we SCREAMED at them to LOOK!
The Midterms are going to be a bloodbath, but the real battle is going to be post-election, when MAGA will claim that the Dems rigged the election (that they couldn’t rig), and Mike Johnson will refuse to step aside or swear in the new Reps. It will be a true Constitutional Crisis.
But we will get through that, the new Reps and Senators will take their places, and we will deal with the 2028 Presidential race, which MAGA will definitely attempt to rig. Hopefully, the Dems will stop it, and won’t accept the results of it is rigged, but we’ll deal with that then.
As for the military, I’m not too worried about them. He just got banished from an important planning meeting of military leaders, because he was in there screaming and calling them losers because two American pilots were missing, and he was worried about how it would make HIM look. Picture that, Trump exercising his ego, screaming his lunatic nonsense at trained experienced professional soldiers, pissing them off until they finally became so insubordinate that they removed his ability to call the shots in his own military operation? That’s practically a coup.
They are all getting fired because they are refusing to carry out his orders, and that is going to continue. Every time he fired a competent moral military leader, he weakens his side, and strengthens the opposition. Those people didn’t spend their lives defending America, climbing the ranks in a notoriously difficult system, only to be tossed aside by a Traitor Pedophile. They aren’t sitting at home, sipping drinks on the veranda in their retirement, as the nation they defended burns down around them. You think they haven’t been talking to each other, making contingency plans?
IF the future of America comes down to a violent Civil War, our side will have military competence, while their side will have unqualified loyalists.

With Orban out of the picture, and Trump out of the picture, the last 50 years of the Russian backed conservative movement will collapse and die. With Russia on the brink of collapse themselves (they are barely alive only because Trump removed oil sanctions against them, otherwise they’d be dead broke), it will take another few decades to rebuild, and the West will be watching closer this time.
MAGA didn’t exist before Trump, and it won’t exist after Trump. It simply doesn’t exist without Trump.

What will happen is candidates will tear each other apart and the winner will get all. Republicans unify behind whoever wins and will vote in lockstep. Cheering on the worst candidates thinking this won’t happen is foolish.
MAGA is already coming apart. They are a Cult of Personality, and will not survive without Trump as their leader. There will be conflicting messages and priorities, and they’ll be attacking each other viciously and relentlessly. The Conservative Propaganda Machine will fracture, and start supporting different candidates, and different new conservative political models, MAGA will be desperately fighting to maintain power, etc. It will take them at least a couple of election cycles to get their shit together and become viable again, time when they can’t really fight the Dems effectively.
It will be a golden opportunity for the Dems, if they can keep their shit together, and maybe they will. Leadership has changed at the DNC, and they seem a bit more competent and winner focused than they have been for the last few decades. They’ve managed the amazing record of Democratic wins over the last year, and they are still going strong. The DHS shutdown continues, the gerrymandering battle is going well, and the Midterms look like it’s going to be a vicious bloodbath for MAGA.
It has always been clear that the Dems didn’t really have to do anything but get out of MAGA’s way, and they’d destroy themselves with their virtuosic incompetence. However, the Dems are actually doing a decent job of accelerating the MAGA downfall, so let’s encourage that.
Stop telling the Dems that we expect them to do nothing when they take back power. We don’t expect nothing, we expect ACTION, and bold, strong, unforgiving action at that. MAGA is a proven National Security Threat, and needs to be harshly crushed and purged from our government, and our society. It has no place in our world any more than the KKK or the Nazis. We don’t allow them to contribute to a moral society, and MAGA will join them. Dems need to understand that we won’t tolerate politeness towards Traitors/ Racists/ Pedophiles, and we want to see them punished harshly, no matter how far up the food chain they are. What you’re missing here is that people treat politics as sports ball when they fail to connect it to their daily lives. As the economic situation in the US continues to decline, Trump supporters will start having problems paying their bills and making ends meet just like everyone else. They will turn on him, and it will get ugly. What Carlson is most likely doing here is setting himself up as an alternative, and he’ll harness that anger for his own purposes.
I read a story maybe 2 months ago where farmers in Idaho had everyone they hired on their farm deported from an ICE raid. Without cheap labor, they were forced to sell their farm. The farm owners said they realized it was trumps policies that did this.
There was a different story involving a family owned lumbermill. It had been family run for over a century. It wasn’t ICE raids, but some other new policy trump enacted.
In both cases, they were trump voters. Full on maga. They admitted it was trumps fault. They also said they’d vote for him again.

I wouldn’t trust Tucker or anyone to be president, but I like that Tucker at least admits his mistakes, including his mistake of opposing the 9/11 truth movement and being rude to them.
