MAGA is already coming apart. They are a Cult of Personality, and will not survive without Trump as their leader. There will be conflicting messages and priorities, and they’ll be attacking each other viciously and relentlessly. The Conservative Propaganda Machine will fracture, and start supporting different candidates, and different new conservative political models, MAGA will be desperately fighting to maintain power, etc. It will take them at least a couple of election cycles to get their shit together and become viable again, time when they can’t really fight the Dems effectively.
It will be a golden opportunity for the Dems, if they can keep their shit together, and maybe they will. Leadership has changed at the DNC, and they seem a bit more competent and winner focused than they have been for the last few decades. They’ve managed the amazing record of Democratic wins over the last year, and they are still going strong. The DHS shutdown continues, the gerrymandering battle is going well, and the Midterms look like it’s going to be a vicious bloodbath for MAGA.
It has always been clear that the Dems didn’t really have to do anything but get out of MAGA’s way, and they’d destroy themselves with their virtuosic incompetence. However, the Dems are actually doing a decent job of accelerating the MAGA downfall, so let’s encourage that.
Stop telling the Dems that we expect them to do nothing when they take back power. We don’t expect nothing, we expect ACTION, and bold, strong, unforgiving action at that. MAGA is a proven National Security Threat, and needs to be harshly crushed and purged from our government, and our society. It has no place in our world any more than the KKK or the Nazis. We don’t allow them to contribute to a moral society, and MAGA will join them. Dems need to understand that we won’t tolerate politeness towards Traitors/ Racists/ Pedophiles, and we want to see them punished harshly, no matter how far up the food chain they are. NOBODY gets a pass.

Any Dem who attempts to promote a policy of appeasement/ forgiveness/ “looking forward”/ etc. needs to lose their political career. If you aren’t in Congress to fight, then get out, and make room for someone who is willing to fight.
Obama promoted a policy of forgiveness/moving forward after bush killed a million people and he’s still a major feature in the party. I want more out of the dems but if your expectations are them taking real action to punish republicans for their crimes idk what to tell you
Yeah, and Obama was an empty president who did literally nothing but make people feel good, and allow MAGA to rise. He sat there and watched Russia help MAGA influence the 2016 election, and did absolutely nothing about it but look irritated. Then his wife came out with the new Democrat losing game plan: “When they go low, we go high,” which caused the Dems to lose a whole bunch of elections. Totally useless, yet somehow Biden managed to be worse.
If we manage to fight hard enough to get them back into power, they WILL punish MAGA, or they will suffer right along with them. We didn’t go to all this trouble TWICE, for them to squander it TWICE. They will do the job they are sent to DC to do, or else. We won’t trust them a third time, we’ll just deal with it ourselves, and the Dems will feel it, too, for their malfeasance.
