If OpenAI and Anthropic fall at the same time, that will be fucking hilarious. I hope they bring all their enablers down with them. Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Nvidia, Google and the rest.
it would also make the investment into flock kinda useless, since it depends on AI.
And if it gets the cost of my new Twenty Year Computer down under $2500, then all good.
Somehow I don’t think that this is actually gonna move the needle at all.
We are at too-big-to-fail levels but I’m still confused about what they are big in.
I think it’s more that most big things are giant money pits for years when starting out. Youtube was just lighting cash on fire for over a decade, but they never went away. I’m unconvinced a bad earnings report means anything for something with this much user engagement. Someone’s always going to be willing to pump more money into it.
If people stop using it, then they should be worried.
