im in another forum, where people have thier “business” through reddit, but its from just using spamming though. one thing reddit doesnt like is people promoting any kind of business, or fundraising they arnt benefiting from.

i avoided politics sub, because i was catching too many of my accounts getting “banned” before i went on lemmy.

only the admins can unban people, thats why theres next no succesful appeals. i hear success stories once in a while on the shadowban sub, it seems like its an extremely rare event.

my new account after i was banned last year, only vist niche subs for burning questioned i needed answers, or niches i was very interested in. i avoid participating in news/musics/politics type subs. i had to remove all my comments using powersuite delete on a sub that was getting too much traction.

they recently tried to force logins because too many people were lurking afraid of getting banned, plus OPENAI stopped using the site too. new device, new browser is the easiest way to go back on reddit.

they are getting good at blocking the spammers(the one drives traffic to thier own online businesses, or sometimes of accounts). i dont think it actually stops them though, im on another forum where they talk about this very thing, they can produce enough accounts ,devices, thier own browser setup to evade it constantly, or eventually. i dont think they go after propaganda bots though.

i got sucked into some sub drama, and that got me banned, or my reporting people denied. like Youtube, livestream subs.

if its your original account its possible, but dont get your hopes up. admins are the only one that can lift it, and they ignore 99.99% of ban appeals. you are still susceptible to a secondary ban even if they lift, because the AI cant tell difference between a lifted ban that clears your record, and your past (pattern of getting banned)

They use mostly AI to moderate, so unlikely they will ever see your appeal. only an ADMIN can lift a ban. afte ri was banned, i was appealing almost every day last year, until i stopped, recently i made a new account(after 1+years getting ban). you arnt losing anything, i was lurking for that 1+year, while i was on lemmy.

also satisfying my curiosity of how people are getting banned, including the of accounts, i went to another forum. Most people reddit is lurking instead, because of the fear of being banned.

reddit mostly is bots right now, reddit suddenly lost alot of engagement because AI stopped scraping it because its just AI posting AI generated reposts.

in our area, its hard to get a costco job, because people dont leave, and there arnt any openings that a sane person would want, that tells you the company treats them good. in the STATES. we have 1 inner city costco, which is unique, since most costcos arnt near any cities.

costco is one of those, that people stay a long time as a retail employee, thats why its pretty hard to get jobs at costco. most other chain/big bog store make it so unpleasant that you leave eventually.
