Generational infighting only benefits the wealthy and powerful. The people responsible for our predicament are the politicos and billionaires who are destroying our biosphere.
Yes, but at the same time, aren’t people still voting for cheap gas?
Let’s vote for cheap gas by making it so obsolete that the supply way outpaces the demand. 😤
Who are those politicians? Boomers.
Yes all boomers are responsible for the 100 boomer politicians who suck
Then why aren’t the rest of the boomers helping take down the 100 responsible boomer politicians?
Because their retirement funds would go down in value if the corporations lost out on profit

Fucken Bernie… what a boomer.
Oh yeah, BadEmpanada is not a controversial streamer living off click bait revenue at all… sure “bruh”. I’m sure Sergei Brin is happy to have the uploads… I know I watch youtube regularly (with an ad blocker of course).
Like I said, have fun with the Slacktivism and generational rage baiting so the wealthy classes get ignored. That said, I definitely would have preferred Bernie got in rather than Trump, he was quite clear when he said that criticism of Israel is not Anti-Semitic (a step up from most politicians). But yeah, now I see we’re talking celebrities? What’s your point? To make the perfect the enemy of the good?
This is another lazy attack from you that boils down to “Bernie wasn’t perfect enough”… great, I’m sure your purity politics will save the world. Hey you should stop talking to me, because I’m not perfect either - therefore I must be your enemy right?
Did Bernie donate his houses to the homeless?
Is he bonded to foodbanks?
Is he demolishing deathcamps?I think evidence of his class actions speak for itself.
But what do I know, I didn’t participate in Operation Enduring Freedom.Oh wow, the user who promotes in-fighting and purity politics…
…is doing more infighting and purity politics.
It’s a great way to keep numbers small, and claim to be the elite far-left.
“I don’t go to protests if they get too big, I’m further left than that mainstream BS”.
It’s just such a losing idea isn’t it. People who do (let alone promote) this kind of infighting and purity politics can’t hold a group of 8 together, let alone 18 or 180. It’s just such a loosing mindset. But yeah, fuck it, you do you.
You act like an agent provocateur would. There’s no functional difference between you and them. You both aim to cause division and failure of large scale leftism. Let me guess, you DO go to protests… to smash things, and attack people right? Because you’re angry… you’re the type.
I think you’re missing my point:
When did Bernie politically act “left”?
Is he suddenly mutually aiding workers?
Is he uplifting the governed class?I think we picked up different Frankfurt School literature. Care to enlighten us youngsters what Benie has done to “fight with us”?
… who do you think are
politicos and billionaires who are destroying our biosphere.
?
“all old people are rich and evil” is a bad retort.
There’s plenty of old people who are poor. Who never got a say in any of this. There’s plenty of old hippies who spent their lives at protests. Plenty of old anarchist and communists.
So it’s just helping the problem to say we should hate all old people.
There’s millennials who are rich right wingers, but saying “therefore we should hate all millennials” would also be a distraction from class politics.
Don’t help the wealthy do that, because we need old lefties on the protest lines as much as we need anyone on the protest lines.
You either pull people in, or you push them out, and the left needs people.
I agree. It is a weird retort to make, when defending the generation responsible for Vietnam, Cuba, Bay of Pigs, Pinochet’s rise, Maduro’s rise, the Korean, Hawaii, Puerto Rican genocide, etc… Why would innocent boomers suddenly solidify for special 100 boomers when engaging on a political meme criticizing a generation responsible for sooo much destruction?
Are you by any chance a gulity conscious boomer trying plea for néos not to fire squad you for your sins?I think you’re trying personal attacks because you want to stay in a lazy thought pattern, because it’s easy and apathetic. Looking at the past, excuses you from acting in the future.
For your information, I’m part of the generation responsible for the later Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the “dot com” bubble, data centers, mass surveillance, mass pornography, and the bleaching of coral reefs.
Let me guess you’re from the one true generation, in which life and the planet got healthy again, and Capitalism was made ethical and just.
I fucking hope so. I know you do too.
Ok milli, why are you intersecting for the class&age oppressing us?
Just delete your responses here if you earnest believe there are intersecting boomers going to help us out. Solidarity is a bridge.
What you’re doing is ensnaring us. Let us know when you find the intersecting boomer still sabotaging the “Epstein class.”I think there are boomers on both sides. Boomers are dying out by the way. Gen X are entering their 60s (the age depicted in your meme).
When young Joe Biden dies we’ll all know the ladder has shifted, and we’ll need some “Gen-X did this to us memes” - so better get them ready if you want to perpetuate the cycle.
Then why hasn’t the other side already won against the malicious side? How did Gen X convince Boomers they are entitled to so much destruction and not a lick of responsibility? How have boomers convinced you this is a perpetual game we must adhere to?

Whatever generation you are in also has people in power who are fucking the planet. Are you responsible for them? No.
There are many many boomers who put up a good fight and are still putting up a good fight. We need solidarity with all people who are not those who are destroying the planet. These reductive “boomers did it” memes ignores the reality that a very small cohort of people are destroying the world. And they all benefit when anger is directed at people who are powerless.
Wait, you have a néocracy‽
Are you responsible for them? No.
This would be the only logical reason you would say this utterly irresponsible statement, like if guardians deposit children to the forest as soon as they are born.
There are many many boomers who put up a good fight and are still putting up a good fight.
Where? I see most boomers voted to utterly crush us, in nearly all fascist nations.
very small cohort of people are destroying the world
Again, how do you think they got cohorts to even achieve this?
Do you think fucking the planet is only possible by 100 people‽And they all benefit when anger is directed at people who are powerless .
Bridal Chorus:
Here comes the lie, there comes the truth♪
The “powerless” are choking the living daylights of the youth!♪
Do you think fucking the planet is only possible by 100 people‽
100 companies are responsible for 70% in of greenhouse gas emissions. Infighting isn’t going to stop that.
Just 57 companies are responsible for 80 per cent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to a new report released by UK-based think tank InfluenceMap.
The report also reveals big producers did not reduce, but rather increased, their output of fossil fuels in the seven years after the Paris Agreement.
So why did I say 100, if the report says 57? It’s because the figures fluctuates, and there are other reports with other figures (they always confirm that Capitalism produces a minority against the majority). The fact remains that culpable, true “I’m a billionaire getting rich from the company” isn’t a majority position…
…but it needs a majority solution to stop it. You’re on the wrong end of the argument, and should deescalate. This isn’t a problem of all old people being evil.
Even with boomers who are millionaires owning two homes they simply are not enormously wealthy by global billionaire standards (a billion is an order of magnitude larger than a millionaire. Especially a low millionaire). They seem wealthy to me, and you, and probably a lot of other people on this end of the spectrum, but in the grand scheme they’re not the driving force in the state of the planet today. We could say they’re a voting factor, but not (generally) a lobbying factor.
EDIT: clarified my “are not wealthy” statement, because it’s aimed at “compared to the top end” rather than the bottom end - the poorest (anyone reading this is wealthy compared to the barefoot poorest of the world).
I think you’re missing my point entirely.
The generation responsible for fucking our planet,
are the majority now. They can easily overpower and can easily “deescalate” the 57 companies they work for.If you’re a boomer, sabotage your company right now.
Stop replying to me. Go on, save the planet you love so much.Wait, you’re blaming boomers for stuff but you linked to data that says the opposite of what you implied. Your first link says the biggest demographic is 15-64, and boomers are 65-80. Your second says millennials are the bulk of the workforce.
DarkCloud already admitted they want to continue supporting capitalism, and the oppressors. My rhetorics worked out revealing their true cause. Now, why won’t boomers release their pensions?
Ultimately positive action, that produces something constructive attracts more money, interest, and help than negative online criticism done purely as criticism/venting.
I understand you just want to vent, and cope via memes that say “boomers did this to me”. That’s fine, go right ahead man. You do you, because what else can you do.
It’s frustrating.
No man, what have boomers sold you that warrants your constructive positive intersection, than solidifying with the generation struggling against their oppression, and your nieces and nephew’s generation?
I run a canteen, because I am actually political active with my community. I know how gen x, boomers, millennials, zoomers, and gen alpha behave and commune with each other. And the boomers simply refuse to intersect. They think they are entitled to keep oppressing us, with their retirement packages, sign up boni, second homes, etc…
What boomer promised you something that they haven’t relinquished to you yet?
Scientists were warning about climate change in the 1800s and everyone still actively chose to ignore them.
Earlier guesses (which is all they were at the time) calculated several centuries before it would become a problem. That was just based on coal burning at the time and making some population increase estimates. They were far off and couldn’t see other advancements that made it exponentially faster and worse. But yes, we had a good idea it would happen, either way.
Gen X: give their kids awards for everything because they grew up latch key kids. Secretly suspect their kids won’t have social security. Hoping the beanie baby collection will mature before their own retirement.
Millennials: can’t afford kids, houses, or new cars.
Gen Z: don’t want make things any worse.
They had it so good, the thought of improving things never occurred to them. The thought of safeguarding the good things also didn’t occur to them, though.
T.V. rots the soul
There’s a certain amount if racism weirdly absent here
who are the people in the pictures?
Pre-WWII, probably Depression
WWII, the Greatest Generation
Boomers
The rest aren’t shown because we’ve been having to deal with the Boomers ever since, in our own ways.
Pictured in the final panel: Very young boomers, or very old Gen-Xers (many of whom, will be inheriting money soon if they haven’t already).
Depends on when the picture was taken, but it looks a few decades old to me. And that inherited money… it’s gone.
Yeah, but if we’re to take the out of date picture as being now (as a new comer might see them) are going to start being about Gen-Xers soon.
Most people of all gens keep doing the same unhealthy indoctrination, stay in dualistic thinking rather than grow and actualize. They numb blindly to the algorithms. Bad policies produce bad results and doubling down makes it worse, not better. The artificial scarcity forced on us, by those with the wealth and power, and superstitions keeps the unhealthy societies going. Too many voters pick the unhealthy platform or don’t show up for the better one. It’s not perfect but we make more progress with Dems and less suffering around the world. If this wasn’t obvious before choosing the rapist for a second time, I hope more people understand it now, care enough about humanity and do something positive going forward.
