I am not arguing the importance of Canada to the USA. I just want to point out the USA will not allow Canada to leave it’s sphere of influence.
Do you understand what the Monroe doctrine is? Canada along with every other country in the western hemisphere answers to the USA. Look at any country that stands up to USA, they don’t end up having a good time. As we speak the USA has agents on the ground in Canada (especially in Alberta) making sure that things fall into place for the USA.
If Carney thinks he can establish trade deals with other countries, especially outside of the western hemisphere, then I hope he is taking steps to defend the homeland against what’s coming.
The CIA already has multiple options played out for Canada if they step out of line. The question is does Canada have counter measures ready? I don’t think they do and I think Alberta is perfectly set up for CIA meddling.
