I swear to fucking god I’ll do everything I can as an American to support Canada, sabatoge, spying, painting fake military installations on concrete, whatever.

Thank you. But for right now, vote. We’ll worry about the rest soon enough.

Yeah you’re on a list now… Palantir already scraped your comment and IP address and once the war with Canada starts you will be tracked as you go about your life. Once you even try to act on your comment you and people around you that know about your plans will be hunted down and relatively quickly. What happens after that I do not know.

This is what the USA is like now. This is the supposed freedom that the constitution guarantees. You’re better off defecting to Canada and joining their military, but then be ready to kill your fellow Americans.

Just me having to make this comment just shows how far gone the USA is. I mourn for what it used to be. Absolute insanity, the past 10 years has been a nightmare for me at least. We are here now, fuck the USA government.

homie I have full on profiles of behavior and syntax analysis to keep me perma banned from conservative spaces I’ve agitated at in the recent past. I’m on a lot of lists.

Canada won’t take almost all American that try to go there. Unless you can buy your way in, with what, a 10 million dollar investment in the country is it?

Not applicable for me, I’m not going anywhere.

According to this it seems that it’s transitive so it goes back all the way to the 1600’s as long as they were a Canadian citizen or (before either 1947 or 1949, depending on province) a British subject living in Canada.

This rule also applies to you if you were born to someone who became Canadian because of these rule changes.

I will have to tell any family I have that might want to emigrate at some point thanks for the information I can’t believe I didn’t know that.

I am going down with the ship.

It appears to be transitive so if you can prove a link back to them, every descendent counts as a Canadian citizen.

Are you thinking of Savatage? They’re a heavy metal band that you don’t hear much of anymore because a good chunk of them are playing in Trans-Siberian Orchestra 4-5 months a year.
