            i’m unhappy they got elected, but since the alternatives are also far right parties, i’d be unhappy about those getting elected too. and i’m observing that when so-called mainstream political parties refuse to actually do anything for their people, the people will vote for someone offering something. since there are no communists, the things on offer are a) status quo (people hate this) b) even more unhinged nazi shit

            then there are the people who have lost all hope for anything good coming out of politics, so they just vote for whoever infuriates the “respectable” political class the most.

                there’s no strong emerging political movement in europe that’ll get us off this death train, i’m afraid. we’ll immiserate the european proletariat and cause even more death and destruction abroad, until europe hollows itself out so much that it cant even make guns anymore. or until some saner country stops us, like they did last time.
