Using phone numbers is the only real criticism imo any service that uses phone numbers is fundamentally compromised.

Tesonet is pretty well known as one of the biggest tech company in the baltics region so obviously they do a lot of different tech.

VPN itself is mostly harmless and can’t intercept e2e encrypted traffic and today even DSN is under e2e.

The only red flag is really the inaccurate advertising that vpn protects from public wifi issues which is on page with every VPN ad (except Mullvad) but still wrong.

At least IBM used to be cool and gave us things like SQL, DRAM and Thinkpads. Other than Java kits I couldn’t name a single useful initiative from Oracle. They just take existing inventions and shuffle enterprise papers.

I’ve been a software engineer for over 20 years now and tbh I couldn’t tell you even if my life depended on it. I know it’s a shit tier hosting service that people use because they offer 5$ worth virtual server for free with a valid credit card but that’s about it.

It’s one of those ancient paper shuffling IT companies that is 95% sale/middle mamager leeches, 5% wizard engineers carrying everything on their shoulders.

Thinkpads are generally invredibly cheap due to scale. You can also refurbished last years model for under 400 usd.

It doesn’t matter US is so protectionist that american car brands simply can’t fail. Which tbf is understandable and the case in most countries but the point being that car competition domestically is only worthwhile discussion from protectionism pov not actual technology

I’m a parent and legit think that majority of parents should not have been parents and have no minimum required skill to raise a human being. It’s sad because it’s really not that hard but most people don’t think a day ahead when raising their kids and just follow a “vibe”, so spending a weekend on parental controls is an insurmountable task.
