EU is the world’s largest market. US money is sitting more still than EU money, probably largely simply because there are so much more people in EU than there are in USA.

US is the second biggest economy in the world. You can’t just completely ignore it.

For now, it has been pushed into countries outside the free trade zone. Ukraine would have it much easier if it was in the EU free trade zone, for example.

So, in Canada’s case I’d say the costs would get pushed to the US.

The occupied territories in Ukraine are full of torture facilities. If the war ends with the Russia gaining Ukraine’s territory, then the torture campaign will not only increase in intensity in the currently occupied territories, but will be spread to all of Ukraine. Ukrainians have seen for four years what happens to Ukrainians under Russian rule. The current suffering pales in comparison to what they have ahead if they capitulate.

Ukrainians want to choose the path of least suffering. And that is to take the missiles. The Russia cannot kill 40 million Ukrainians with missiles, but they can kill 40 million Ukrainians if Ukraine capitulates.

The very first sentence there tells it’s a governmental body under the Ministry of Transport. Unless Denmark has privatized its Ministry of Transport, it’s not privatized.

So, some asshole is stealing money that is supposed to go from your country to Ukraine? And somehow that’s a reason why Ukraine should not be allowed to remain an existing country?
