I noticed lately that whenever I have a new account, if I post a post that has a picture in it Reddit fucking bans it regardless of topic

This was satire though but yes, obviously doesnt come through. Should a one off misshap result in perma bans? Depends if the plattform wants to have non bot users. Reddit made a choice.

Today they made changes so that old reddit doesnt work anymore on being logged out, the UI of new reddit is so cumbersome. they also placed it behind a log in now, and who have used it within 6months. more than likely they will let it die completely. i had to find a workaround, to make the old-reddit-esque skin appear again.

i dont bother interacting with subs that are pretty high traffic.

Reddit want you to engage like the perfect new non bot user any deviation from that and you will be banned regardless of your post content

If you make a post without sticking to comments only for a week, if you share links, if you join too many communities, etc. the AI freak out and immediately filter your account which then may result in your account being cleared few days later or shadow banned forever depends on your luck

A new account that immediately starts posting fake incendiary content?

The only thing I’m surprised by is that reddit didn’t boost that to the front page for engagement.
