Fascism is caused by alienation, racism and entitlement. Rightwing agitators often (but are not always) a funding source. More often than not young men who believe themselves aggreived or hard-done-by are targetted by recruiters looking to pray on their vulnerability, need for community and lack of political education.
Fascism is not generally considered a product of advocating for empathy (I’m not advocating for empathy with fascists, or rightwing tech billionaires), so where’s the irony? Or do you just feel like acting smug and superior today.
