With the downfall of America, an EU led block of alliances and treaties will emerge. Whatever that is called will be what Canada and other former American allies will be a part of, I don’t see Canada savings it’s sovereignty from America by surrendering it to the EU. The mutually beneficial nature of cooperation doesn’t die with American leadership, it shifts elsewhere. There is benefit in that shifting as historic US influence on those relationships are no longer blocking progress.
