In the video, Ben Gvir points towards what appears to be an active construction site and says the complex will include “viewing chambers where crime victims will be able to come and watch” Palestinians being hanged.

Germans be like: We are eternally sorry for being nazis (for 11 years), to atone for our eternal sin (of 11 years) we must wholeheartedly and blindly support only one of the ethnic groups that we wronged, who just so happen to be the successor nazis (for almost 80 years now). 🥺

It’s not the ethnic group that are being nazis, it’s the ethnostate. The difference is important, and failing to acknowledge it only feeds into zionist propaganda that “anti-israel = anti-semitic”.

I can’t believe we still need to have this conversation.

Every day I become more and more convinced that humanity in general just forgets history where there are no survivors left.

The very fucking second most WW2 veterans started passing away in droves, Nazis got bold again and now they run America and somehow, Israel.

Guess if that logic holds, the US and Russia will truly be friends soon after everyone who lives through the cold war is gone.

I wonder if it really is that simple… once we lose the familial connections to the past, we just collectively forget. Or at least forget how important those lessons were.

Yeah, for several years now I’ve theorized that that’s been the plan all along. Nazis have been biding their time in hiding, indoctrinating their children and grandchildren, infiltrating government agencies, building global corporate hegemonies/oligopolies/oligarchies. Waiting for the last few WWII vets to die out, while their children and grandchildren get addicted to drugs, sports, social media, gambling, streaming services, etc.; while their educations erode and they become poor, desolate slaves to the system that grinds up people and produces profit, siphons the wealth of the nations to the very top.

And now we’re seeing their endgame. They resurface. The last few WWII vets are in elder care and all but forgotten. America hasn’t waged a just war in 80 years. Nobody is willing to stand up and unify against this shit. There’s no common cause to fight for. Everyone who cares about justice is broken and scattered in a thousand different special interest groups, and can’t seem to work together towards a common goal.

So the fascists resurface. Or at least, their children and grandchildren do. And they find the world ripe for the picking…

The Palestinian Genocide is a product of European/US Colonialism supercharging itself and doubling down on hate until a limit is found, I don’t know if this Genocide is a product of forgetting, rather it might be more accurate to say it is a product of remembering.

I do not need a familial connection to Genocide to understand we are all in danger the world over when Genocide is allowed to flourish.

This is the real world, you are real, I am real. This space is biased, incomplete and unrepresentative of other spaces… just like all the other places…

However… by the massive polling collapse for support for Israel in the US alone you can demonstrate your thesis is incorrect.

Why the massive polling shift if not a rising human awareness of atrocity? It wasn’t like in the span of several years a bunch of USians developed familial connections to Genocide victims?

No, get out of here with your nihilism and cynicism.

Humans are capable of empathy, and across the world humans are screaming for this to stop, countless jews included. The chorus of people who may have never even met a Palestinian shouting at the top of their lungs to stop this Genocide is overwhelming and stretches across every demographic divide in societies.

The reason it hasn’t stopped isn’t a failing of the average person to care, there really isn’t any evidence of that at least in the US, the reason is the people in power do not care that the majority of us are shocked and gouged in our soul when we wake up to this Genocide happening every day.

You can see the same thing with Germany, if you look at the German government and see how they talk about things vs. how much the German people reject supporting the Palestinian Genocide and Israel again it is CRYSTAL CLEAR why this is happening and it isn’t the fault of the average person being too callous or uninterested.

I think it’s more that no one yet wants to sacrifice their life for the hope that their death is more than just a failed attempt to curtail the great evils of this world. The massive numbers of people who agree that “something must be done” is useless without organization and leadership. The surveillance state makes that next-to-impossible. Privacy is key in the ability of a people to safely organize, yet privacy (and proper OPSEC) in the modern world is more complicated/difficult than most people are willing/able to manage. I think that we will see a great suffering leading up to the great collapse.

I’ve been saying this too for a long time. People make trite references to the past about overthrowing oppressive regimes, but they forget how fundamentally different the current situation is. The level of technology and surveillance is unprecedented. The destructive capacity of military technology, the precision it can be used with, the impersonal nature of it and layers of obscurity to hide behind, it’s all unprecedented.

Some people act like everyone is just being a coward for not rising up against it, but there’s such thing as caution. Self-preservation is important in battle. If everyone charges to their deaths just to prove how brave they are, they lose the war pretty quickly. Winning wars is about entrenchment, defensibility, logistics, communications, and intelligence. Oh and diplomacy/international support. All of that before offensive procedures. And technology is not small part of that, nor is access to resources.

Yet accelerationist keyboard warriors act like anyone with an AR-15 can stand up and do something about it. It’s so ignorant.

And they’ll trash and demean anyone with the mildest experience in that sort of thing. They chafe at the idea of leadership, central organization, discipline, etc. All of which are necessary in order to coordinate an efficient resistance force and wage effective battles.

They don’t understand the difference between the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of war planning either.

A few lone wolf attacks won’t accomplish anything but turning public opinion against a cause. The opposition will view them as crazy, violent extremists. Anyone sympathetic with the resistance will view them as vain/stupid/self-aggrandizing/savior-complex, etc… The neutrals will view them as one or the other, maybe a mix of both.

That’s another thing, the left scorns the idea of heroism, as if individual contributions don’t matter. You can’t have a collective effort without a sum total of individual contributions. But if I die for this cause, my “allies” will just spit on my body because “we don’t beed a hero”? That’s sure to inspire courage and loyalty, right…?

Most Israelis hate their current government. Their protests were put down pretty viciously though.

The Likud is using every trick in the book to hold onto power, because they know they don’t have a mandate from the majority. The only way they even got into power in the first place was by unfairly privileging the ultra-orthodox minority in Israel’s electoral system. But a recent constitutional change might have solved that.

What I have seen is, that all the jews and Israelis living outside of Israel are actually sane (except for the very few politicians who are blackmailed to side with the current Knesset). All people living in Israel are unfortunately brainwashed and blindly support the Knesset.

Disclaimer: that is just my observation, which might not reflect reality and I am very interested into other perspectives.

That’s not even true. There were widespread protests in Israel before the government brutally cracked down on them. And the media didn’t cover them very thoroughly even when they were happening.

It’s kinda hard to be outspoken against the authoritarian regime of the country you live in. Just like we don’t hear much about russian dissidents, but they exist. Most of them in gulags at this point, at least the outspoken ones.

          You’re experiencing survivorship bias.

Don’t become who Netanyahu wants you to become, the only way bigots who rationalize their obsession with violence and subjugation through their fear of everything different than them can keep power in Israel is if they have people they can point to who despise jews in Israel for genuinely antisemitic reasons. This dynamic comes up again and again the longer you consider this tragedy, every action taken by leaders is done to cultivate an equally bigoted resistance in the existential enemy so as to preserve the status quo politics at home.

It is also a mental error to understand this purely as a product of the people living in Israel, this is directly connected to European and US politics and the consequences of them that have been reverberating in the middle east for generations. Support for Israel in the US often centers on christian power centers, not jewish ones and if you don’t step back and appreciate the broader context, than you will hyperfocus on jews in Israel being uniquely evil and desiring of Genocide when in reality the Palestinian Genocide expresses the capacity for the systems we have built to produce, back and sustain Genocide even when it is in plain sight for the entire world to see.

The second largest population center of jews on earth is New York City, which just elected Zohran Mamdani, a muslim as mayor and he is extremely popular. None of this has anything to do with the supposed holy words written on books god has handed down to us as guidance and everything to do with geopolitics, colonialism, xenophobia and empire.

      Fuck Israel.

They can keep power by continuing to bribe American politicians and taking over elections with money.

I don’t think Netanyahu gives one single fuck about the Diaspora except as a cash source.
