    There’s a prison nearby.

There are not flock cameras outside the prison or anywhere near it.

That should tell you everything you need to know.

For fucks sake… don’t scapegoat this 1 person.

Every township, every county, and every state government is enabling it. Flock just doesn’t go around putting up cameras for charity. They are doing it because your governments are paying them for it.

Don’t scapegoat them, but also don’t let them off the hook. Don’t let them feel too comfortable about being openly evil. People being comfortable about being openly evil is how bad things happen.

All billionaires but not all CEOs

Edit: I have my own LLC but I don’t have any employees. I could, technically, call myself a CEO and that would be valid. Should I be hanged?

Same for me, I’m with you

No idea, why I should be hanged, because the only person I’m abusing is myself…

            This is easy.

Do you call yourself a CEO? If yes, then yes. If no, then no. 👍

I hope you don’t actually believe that.

Not that it matters but I don’t. My parents got me a little plaque for my desk that says “ramenshamen, <LLC name>, CEO” which is kinda fun but I’m just a guy. I don’t walk around introducing myself as a CEO of a company where I’m the only employee.

            Should I be hanged?

Only if you really want to be. Maybe you’re into that? You should probably use a buddy system, though.

I could MAYBE be talked into sparing all folks on social media claiming to be the CEOs of the side hustle. And I guess Gaben but he has to get rid of his yacht(s?) first

Personally I don’t care how many yacts you have, but meddle in my government, behave like an aristocrat, try to surveil and manipulate all the proles, and I am not a happy camper. Very salty.

I think there ought to be a hard cap on wealth from 30mil net worth to somewhere around 250mil. Per person. Double that per family. The actual net worth number should be INDEXED to median (not average) wealth and income, cost of living, etc. And it should be determined democratically.

If we catch someone speeding, first offence just surrender all the wealth over the max wealth limit. Second offence? Capital punishment without the possibility of a pardon, and limited chances to appeal. This can’t be treated like any other crime. Going over the wealth limit shound be considered treason.

There’s actually a lot of political solidarity about mass surveillance. Go to the grimiest YouTube comment section and you’ll see the same kind of vitriol against Palantir et al that you would here.

They just think it serves the globalhomo socialist cabal trying to take over the US and not the fascist coup that already has taken over the US.

i would even say with enough time and deprogramming we can make them suck a lot less than they do. perhaps it’s true though that there can never be full recovery. but i think part of achieving class consciousness is having the faith to put in the effort in believing that better things are possible and that humans are neither inherently good nor inherently evil, but rather products of their environment

I disagree about one part. I do believe humans are inherently good. Sure, there are some people who are neuro-divergent that this doesn’t apply to (though this doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of it, it just might not be inherent). Everyone else though I think are good. That’s how we evolved.

They might not do good because they’re mislead. That’s why many of the conservative arguments are still made with a moral framework, like “think of the children/women” even though that’s just a very thin veil. That’s all it takes sometimes for people to do the wrong thing because they believe, without question, that they’re doing something good.

I think that’s part of why religion is bad. It isn’t just because organized religion has evil people, but that religion is based on the concept of not questioning things. A lot of these people just believe they’re doing good without considering if it’s actually the right thing.

Edit: I’m surprised this is being downvoted. In case it’s the neuro-divergent thing, I am. It isn’t saying all aren’t inherently good, but narcissists aren’t. Their brain doesn’t function in a way that lets them have empathy, so they aren’t inherently good, but can be with effort.

I think once you’re hardened to exterior influence by thought terminating mechanisms there’s nothing left to save, but letting them kill their masters first seems prudent.

This is the town that put up a speed camera on the highway around 2012 and someone took a shotgun to it. The authorities fixed the camera and someone shot it again.
