On an island in shark infested waters, far from prying eyes, the best way to dispose of bodies is obviously dissolving them in acid and not dropping them in the ocean
I keep seeing this but no bates number or document references?
I have found documents about buying barrels but not the contents?
So looking around I found this.
https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet 9/EFTA01223564.pdf
What is a Bates number?
Right good question. The “EFTA numbers” are really called Bates numbers, you put them on each page in a document.
The first bates number is the filename and the number on the first page in a document then each page is numberd sequentially.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bates_numbering
You can read about it here in the case of the Epstein files. https://www.justice.gov/opa/media/1426091/dl
EFTA stands for “Epstein Files Transparency Act”
in some instances, these documents contain previously applied Bates numbers. Those Bates numbers do not reflect whether an item is responsive under the Act. Only those documents that include a Bates number with “EFTA” in its designation are those that are responsive under the Act.
Sometimes I feel the old blogger in me wanting to write and explain how the zip files are structured. Then I remember no one read my blog, and I deleted it in 2014…
Wasn’t it used for a water filter system?
Or at least that was the excuse.
I kinda go with Occams Razor on this one. Homes in the Virgin Islands buy similar materials for their water reservoirs. The Diddler Island probably had higher requirements based on use. Besides, asshole was so rich that it would have been just as easy to tie bodies to weights and drop them in the Atlantic somewhere with his multitude of boats. Yeah, it’s morbid, but it is more plausible.

Whitney I got it I’ve got to tell you something this is why I’ve been dying to tell you: there are only 30 women that have come forward! 30! Whitney, I saw between - I’m not kidding I’m very disturbed by this part - I saw at least five girls come in that house a day
I mean . . . really high the actual amount. No Whitney it’s in it’s in the thousand(s). Where are they? Where are they? Are they dead - I mean, children have to be dead because here’s the thing:
I think that they had to be because here’s the thing Whitney, Brad said he knows that 500 just in Florida . . . like - we can’t find them! Where are they?

. . . I saw thousands of little girls . . .
My experience? You have to have a real human connection to talk about trauma with someone. Or have just recently gone through a traumatic experience again.
That’s sickening…
That truck holds way more than 330 gallons. I only drove B-train tankers. They haul more than the one shown, and I’d haul 13,000 gallons of fuel in two smaller tanks.
I can’t remember how much a single 53’ tank holds, but half a B-train would be 6500 gallons, which is smaller than the trailer shown.
A more accurate representation would be one of those 4’x4’x4’-ish totes with the metal cage. In fact, that’s probably how it was shipped and this is literally one shipment.
Why is everyone so terminally literal on the internet? That’s not the actual picture of the shipment. That’s just a truck. For a meme.
Saying it again. The truck is just for effect. For. A. Meme.
Because it makes it seem like he had a truckload of acid so people go “oh yeah he was definitely dissolving bodies in it,” when that’s probably not the case.
It’s subtle misinformation, and misinformation should always be corrected.
He probably wasn’t dissolving bodies. The reality is that a lot of those girls came from consenting families. Either from poor families who were paid or from families who were already part of the system. Kids of supermodels who were also exploited when they were kids. It’s a cycle.
Yeah, whatever was going on is sick as fuck, I just don’t think dissolving bodies was part of it.
I dunno, guess I just like to be accurate with my outrage 🤷♂️
What is supposed to be funny here? He probably dumped some of them into the acid, ALIVE for fun.
Meme doesn’t mean funny. It’s just a re-sharable thing. I’ve seen countless dark or unfunny memes.
The Snopes thing says it was 6 x 55 gal. barrels.
Ah, well there you are! That sounds about right. Picture a pallet with 4 drums on it. Then half that again.
The picture here is super misleading. Also, how you gonna drive a tanker across the ocean?
Ice beam making a bridge in front of the tanker.
Does that mean that Professor X might be in the redacted sections for renting out poor little Bobby? This new information doesn’t look good for a boarding school for unwanted children with a private jet for unregistered international travel.
Teleporting is a thing!!!

of cource
Those IBC totes are 250 gallons usually, and I’m not sure if they can handle sulferic acid.
Those are made from HDPE and can handle sulfuric acid. I’m not sure they would sell sulfuric acid in plastic tanks that are that large though.
Different kind of plastics for different acids. Remember season 1 of Breaking Bad?
One or those little cube containers we see in scifi movies are 500 gallons and those are like 4x4x4 maybe?
I was thinking one of these. They’re 1000L I believe. Not entirely sure, I quit being a truck driver years ago and my knowledge is fading.
Another commenter said it was shipped in 6 drums though, which hold 205L
That’s exactly what I’m talking about. I used them in my grow shop for nutrient water. I believe they hold 450-500 gallons which is about right if it’s 1000 liters. I guess it would be like 430 gallons or so?
Sounds like there were a lot of bodies to melt
From what I understand, sulfuric acid is used for maintaining PH in Reverse Osmosis water systems, but that’s way more than would be needed, right? I get it’s an island, so they are buying in bull, but even so…
They also had several pools/ jacuzzi. It was basically a small resort. Buying a couple of month supply when you are on an island and everything has to be brought in by boat, not really surprising at all, especially not when you put in the context of the rest of the buying they were doing. Even basic pool contractors buy at those levels.
Also, they had an entire ocean to dump bodies into and an entire island under their control to bury them. Acid digestion seems superfluous.
These people are not cautious. There’s no way they thought enough to use movie stuff like acid.
The picture is deceiving.
330 gallons isn’t that much, like 8 of these:

6 of them. Those are 55 gallons. Exactly 6 of them
Oh yeah. I think it even says 205 litres which is close to 55 gallons.
I thought I remembered people talking about “40 gallon drums”. Maybe there’s a smaller variant.
40 gallon is a common size of trash can.
Not here it’s not.
See I could tell there was something wrong with y’all.

Source: Snopes. Verdict: True but “probably” just for routine maintenance on Pedo Island.
I mean. The thought that he’s be such a man to kill young girls and dispose of their bodies - no one could be that horrible!
There’s a whole ocean of sea creatures to feed body parts to for free. I don’t think they’d be using acid for that.
or just dig hole and dump lye on the body there are all manner of creative ways to dispose of a body
Also, a strong base is generally better than an acid for getting rid of biological material (or combine them - use a base then wash and soak any remaining solids in an acid).
Why yes, I do suspect I’m on a list (or several), why do you ask?
there’s tons of stories of bodies washing up on shores after being adrift for some time, that might not be reliable for disposal of evidence.
He had a whole damn island though, a small crematorium probably would have been sufficient.
It’s probably a pain tho because you cant have any bones or things washing ashore and such. Why take a chance?
Put it in a degradable bag with some stones, preferably throw it somewhere with a strong current. Source: watched some Dexter
Or open the abdomen. That way the gas doesn’t make the body float.
I think I’ve seen that explanation in a documentary… but I think it would be worth trying that on the people that went to that island as clients.
Why not just use a metal shredder, and fertilize the ground with them?
That can work too. But instead of fertilizing the ground, being in an island, is throwing it to the sea.
Do bones float? I’m not sure if that would be an issue.
Anyway, I don’t share a mindset with these people, so I don’t know anything for sure.
this sounds like capitalism… checks out.
There are much easier, and faster ways to get rid of a body.
This is one of the dumber ideas to come out of this.
On some obscure island couldn’t they just dispose of the bodies in the ocean? Even if you buried them who would come looking.
Eventually they run out of space to bury at this rate
people really don’t appreciate the logistics of getting rid of thousands of bodies over however many decades
[citation needed]
In any other system, that would be the same as a “smoking gun”
This has been posted already. It’s not new information.
330 isn’t much. It’s 6 barrels. That’s possible just a standard shipping amount.
Sulfuric acid is used in the reverse osmosis water system on his pedo island.
This is a nothing burger. Sulfuric acid is not an ideal chemical anyway for disposal of flesh, but it will eventually get the job done.
This is what I learned the first time in saw this posted, not my own conclusions btw
