The Un gave a proposition it was not binding. Israel ethnically cleansed Palestinians to build the state. Yes the past is the past but today Israel is colonizing the west bank which everybody expect Israel acknowledge it as Palestinian . Those synagogues was hosting events where Americans can buy Palestinians land where the Palestinians living there was either expulsed illegally or killed. The UN has made themselves largely irrelevant in all of this. And for shame, it would’ve been very useful to have the UN in the role of mediator and potentially be able to provide peacekeepers as they did in the past. But they’ve taken sides against a country for political reasons. They chose politics over diplomacy and failed at their primary mission.
