      You need a quite old OS firmware version as well, so it’s definitely not in the widely supported phase yet.

    Not anywhere near where it’s practical. I heard that even on Linux on PS4, the performance, especially GPU, is crap, due to the lack of driver. PS5 being newer and far less available in terms of jailbreaking, there are maybe only 3.5 persons booted Linux kernel on it.

    Of course, correct me with your latest news please.

      The performance PS5 on Linux is actually very good thanks to the better hardware and more stable graphics drivers. It’s basically as performant as a comparably specced PC.

      However, the fact that rebooting the system means you have to rerun the jailbreak to boot back into Linux does make it impractical for anything other than a cool gaming toy. But if you already have a PS5 vulnerable to the required exploits, it’s fun to do and it’s nice to have access to your Steam library.
