I hate any effect that treats the character’s eyes like cameras unless they are actually meant to be cameras (like in a cyberpunk game or a game where you’re always watching security camera footage).

It’s also completely unnecessary. Motion blur is already a product of your brain not being able to keep up with your eyes and you’ll get a more natural motion blur without adding fake motion blur when the motion is fast enough.

I have never really cared for the dropping of items on death outside of PvP. Makes sense in PvP; doesn’t make a lot of sense in PvE (especially if it’s a PvE only game). It’s not like the NPCs that killed you are gonna take your shit. In PvP, tho, the biggest reason to attack someone else is to take their shit. The mechanic was always just extra, unnecessary punishment on top of having to restart/run all the way back from the nearest spawn point (which could have been hella far back in the day).

With a lot of the decisions Sony has been making recently, I think they just want to roll over and die.
