Wouldn’t surprise me either way tbh. He’s a historically unpopular president who’s daily doing things that are getting people killed or making their lives harder, a lot of people probably do want to off him. On the other hand, staging another assassination attempt is exactly the kind of crude showmanship he would go for and that will probably work on his base.

Probably I’ll wait another year or so, but I think I’m likely to stick with silver. I’ve been rocking raw aluminum slabs since I got my first laptop way back in 2010 or so, a secondhand MacBook pro, and haven’t deviated. Honestly the raw aluminum was a selling point of the framework, though not as much of one as, you know, the whole repairability/upgradability stuff.
Tens of millions voted for him the second time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a good chunk of the 600k came through a few big donors and this was yet another money laundering scheme like the coin, that happened to catch a bunch of morons in the mix.
