season 2 of Mr Robot, or was this season 3?

I don’t like to use the phrase “believe in” when it comes to sciencey stuff, because I think scientific understanding deserves more dignity than (unfounded) beliefs like “chemtrails” or “great replacement conspiracy”, or even philosophical values like “we shouldn’t let poor people die for want of food and medical care”.

How about “it’s the most likely eventuality given what we do know, and we’ll refine our models as necessary as we learn more”?
