I mean, cars aren’t sentient so, this should be a given since they can’t have responsibility assigned to them. But here we are.

2·4 months agoUnless Xteink have opened the firmware and I’m not caught the news, no. However, there are several open source firmwares but the most popular is CrossPoint, https://github.com/crosspoint-reader/crosspoint-reader
I never even tried the stock firmware. Been with CrossPoint since I got the device.

I’ve had mine nearly as long.
As a photographer the camera doesn’t bother me. I tend to use my cameras if I want to take “real” photos. The camera is better than my 13 Mini was.
Speaker doesn’t bother me. I use my AirPods or use AirPlay at home.
Screen size is a mixed blessing. I miss the form factor or my 13 Mini but the screen is helpful for my aging eyes and it’s not huge.
Battery is still great and judging by the iPadOS 27 beta on my iPad mini, in a couple months it’s about to get better.
Putting a Pitaka case on it keeps it slim, adds a grippier surface and makes the plateau flat so it doesn’t rock.
In the end, I have no regrets. It’s been a great phone for me. It still feels great in hand. Not quite as magical as when I first picked one up, but I still notice and enjoy it. Especially when I pick up my partner’s 15 Pro, that’s jarring.
