Yeah, I mean the one thing Motorola always shit the bed on and I think even more so recently, is providing software updates. It makes sense for them to essentially outsource that and have GrapheneOS do the heavy lifting. It just sounds all too good to be true, lets see once the first phone comes out.

I think calling it a RAM shortage is a bit incorrect. It is not like we are running out of raw materials or something else in the supply chain is broken. It’s shitty AI companies buying RAM that is not existing yet with money they don’t have. Unfortunately there’s no good term for that, I guess.
I know you didn’t mean it like that, but at $599 it is not a “$500 device”. It is a $600 device. Which maybe isn’t much worse but still quite a price difference.
