Socialists (and most progressives) don’t need outside funding committees. Their donors are real people that don’t have the wealth to need unlimited donations. They can just donate to the candidate directly.

It sounds like he’s not going to hold it against anyone if they can’t stomach voting for Democrats with truly abhorrent policies though. It shouldn’t be such a hard bar to pass for them not to push people to that “one last inch”.

At some point the cost of putting the show on would exceed the revenue from the remaining ticket holders. Add in the additional bad press with photos of him playing at the stadium that kicked it all off and they might be happy to write it off to a weather disruption and potentially claim insurance and/or avoid liability for the cancellation.
