Ah the same guy that lied the Netherlands had “No go zones”


Don’t get me wrong, I know USB 3 isn’t even remotely cuttting edge, but OP said that they want the latest tech, which is just not what Fairphone is about.
In the midrange, which is what FPs are, USB 2 is still pretty common.


Audio jacks aren’t only for audiophiles tho, so I have to disagree that they had to go.


Fairphone is not about the latest tech. They tend to go for well-supported hardware to ensure longterm support.
They’re also not meant to be flagship phones. These specs are pretty common in midrange phones still (and also completely fine for the majority of people).


But this means there’s still no precedence, no?
I think the reputation is also because the Netherlands was the first country to legalize gay marriage, but that’s like 25 years ago. We’ve certainly not become more tolerant in the mean time unfortunately.
