I would say the incidents listing totals from 2000s are more relevant to the concerns of people.
Attributing the 1942 incident to China, for a region controlled by Japan at the time, sounds strange.


If it was an isolated system, which I doubt, I would be all for people in need getting all the help they can get.
Instead I believe, it’s a tool for morally impaired, to spy on and extract even more data from people.
Yet another “think of the children” type packaging to sell intrusive tech.


I think the significant production power of China was one of the points. As in, “China can sell cheap and has little need to buy from us”, outselling local markets in the long run.
Sounds like valid concern and as you pointed out, Canada might need to diversify, instead of replacing one single point of failure with another.

Though for gaming I still use it mostly “directly”
