Well, Google wants to continue their trend of spyware and people don’t give enough shits for anything to change. Same as with smartphone manufacturers removing features (SD cards, removable battery) and car manufacturers adding spyware and unnecessarily complexifying cars to make them less sustainable.
There is a AXP-OS, but it doesn’t support unpriviliged MicroG and they focus on their ‘PRO’ (rooted) version, which you have to use if you want microG + AVB.
It’s in the whole EU as far as I know.
Wow, some people can afford phones. I can’t just buy a phone for 400€. I have a 2017 Redmi 4x i got for free from my dad. Hopefully my next phone will be a device with GOS.
Well, they still usually use test keys and don’t support AVB yellow (which doesn’t concern me because my phone is old enough it doesn’t support AVB anyway).
Well, apparently they are involved in harassment of gos with caylx and rossman.
