Ever since the Sony BMG CD copy protection rootkit scandal, I haven’t bought any Sony product, and have advised that to as many people as possible. It’s not always easy, but they have proven my point quite often since then. QED once again.

Why would a bad actor terminate an asset when there’s chaos? Seems more like it’s their time to shine and possibly even use the chaos to get the good guys out of the way…

Time will tell, it’s a frightening development nevertheless.
