I’ve never really seriously used any of the distros that do anything particularly unique.
So, while I can’t think of any specific issue, probably the worst “distro specif ic” issue I’ve run into is the occasional need to use back ports on Debian stable to get more current software.


While it’s insane that he got a water bottle in a box that appeared factory sealed, it’s also pretty nuts that we’re now spending $1100 on a 70 series GPU. Those shouldn’t be more than $300, maybe $400 for an OC’s version like this dude bought.


Ubuntu used to have an option for that and the screen shot from the site looks quite a bit like the old Ubuntu installer.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they forked that installer from Ubuntu at some point.


Is there a link to the code? I know I could probably search for it, but if you’re going post about the code being public you could at least include a link to it.
