In her visit to Cuba, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) says dialogue and cooperation would benefit both countries.

Based on what she observed on the island, Jayapal says the oil blockade imposed by the U.S. government is contributing to a humanitarian crisis in Cuba.

She also pointed to a new letter signed by 52 lawmakers calling for an end to the measure, arguing it reflects a failed U.S. policy toward Cuba.
