    Well, that’s it, if I ever can afford a car, I will refuse to get anything new enough to have GPS or any sort of infotainment trash. I will be one of the last people driving gas after the entire would has switched to electric.

      I found this startup working on a no-frills analog type vehicle. I hope they get it to market soon so my poor ass can afford a used one a decade from now when the privacy destroying car enshittification apocalypse reaches it’s apex.

    That’s a rather disturbing article.

    But when you think about it, it should have been obvious.

    All those vehicles driving around. Mapping, listening, watching. And then you plug your phone in!

    It’s a privacy nightmare.
