Huh, I wonder why the UCP waited until after the results of the referendum to do this. I vehemently disagree with Jeff Rath, but he has been nothing but consistent in his messaging.

It seems like there would’ve been ample opportunity to revoke this before the vote took place assuming that his values were in question.

Could Smith be trying to distance herself from the separatist movement after being so openly supportive of it earlier this year?

Probably thought all those foreign bot accounts barking online were actually real people from Alberta.

They really did believe there’s enough support for separatists in the province. In some rural areas, they are a significant chunk. They’re still a fringe minority in the province though.

More Albertans cried about that charlie getting kirk’d than than any other part of the country. Alberta politician Jason Kenny even unleashed his christian nationalist goons on a journalist lady because she dared to highlight what a POS charlie kirk was.

Smith is on record supporting remigration. She’s totally on board with shitty people. She doesn’t want her own power challenged. She’s got nothing against the seppies and their shitty worldview. She’s one of them herself.

I just laugh at this part near the end

Rath says he will be consulting with legal counsel and will “likely” file an appeal of the decision.
