Definitely got blood on my hands and deserve everything I get for the actions of governments and institutions I’ve never voted for.
I get your point, but did I choose to be born in a country that was colonized and dismantled by yours? You’re free of responsibility of your ancestors crimes, yet my family and I will pay for the those crimes for the rest of our lives.
None of this is fair, so I’m going to let materialism do its thing, and in the meantime, indulge in a selfish feeling of happiness that everyone is now in a sort of similar boat
