Lately I’ve been encountering the issue where after so many posts (I havent counted how many) my feeds will end with “Failed to load more posts. Try again?”

The try again option doesn’t succeed in loading more posts.

I figured I’d post here to see if anyone else has encountered this issue lately as I recall it’s happening a few times in the past, but has been split between app issues and instances using outdated Voyager versions.

I’m using Voyager 2.49.1 on iOS. Thanks for any input!

    My app has been doing this as well in all 3 feeds for a few weeks now. Sometimes I’ll get the “failed to load more posts” message at the end of the feed and sometimes it doesn’t update at all, even when refreshing or switching feeds. I tried using a different app “Sync” and it doesn’t have this issue, so it is definitely app related.

    When that happens it’s usually a problem with the instance. So the best is just to wait a bit until they sort it out

      Thanks! I recalled that being the case previously, but also saw a similar issue posted here when I searched. This gives me a direction to go on though. If it persists for another week or so I’ll hit up the main community for my instance

    I only get those when I have been browsing too much and I have hidden too many viewed posts.

      I thought this was the issue too, but when I tried a different app, that app would show other posts that never showed up in voyager and wouldn’t show any of the posts I already viewed in voyager. I think hide view posts is hidden account wide, not just app wide? This app seems to correctly marks posts as read on scroll, yet the other app doesn’t for some reason. (Unrelated issue with that other app.)

    I had this happen to me when I was at work the other day. I took myself off the work WiFi put myself on cell phone data immediately solved the problem.
