In this case Americans are doing nothing to prevent the rise of fascism. You’re claiming that you’re doing nothing because violent protest is counter-productive, and ignoring all of the other solutions.
No it isn’t. You’re just delusional. You think the average French person is sympathetic to violent protests? They are almost always counterproductive.
