Why in the fuck are we not banning american goods at this point.
The guy in charge of making them safe took his grand children swimming in raw sewage.
The US already has a policy that only prohibits ingredients proven to cause harm.
Compare that to the EU where ingredients must be proven safe before being permitted.
It’s why most liquid smoke flavorings were recently banned in the EU as they couldn’t rule out having a genotoxic effect. In the US they are all available still as far as I know.
and in the US once a chemical has been proven dangerous they tweak it to a slightly different molecule that’s similar and keep going. It takes years and a ton of money to prove something is harmful because it requires proper science.
USA: Why won’t those assholes at the EU allow American food into their market!?
