Man actually what the hell is even going on out there

A senior ‌member of DRC’s governing Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) party was beaten to death days ago after taking part ⁠in a radio programme to raise awareness about the epidemic

His house was set on fire afterwards

Not to trivialize the suffering of those who have died, lost people, or are currently infected. All of which falls on the heads of the Trump admin.

It’s not the largest outbreak ever but if it continues unabated it’s probably not long before it gains that distinction. And the larger it gets the better the chances for mutations. If it becomes airborne, slightly less deadly, and/or gains a longer incubation period… I shutter to think about it
