Seriously though, I feel like AWS obfuscates the idea of “software runs on a remote server” to an unnecessary degree, including terms. (Maybe I am not experienced enough yet, or have not drank the kool-aid)
The only workloads that get value from AWS are hyperscale application delivery and big data computation and research and if you are doing those things you’re probably already a shitty business with no ethics. Normal people don’t need it and shouldn’t use it.
