    You can’t claim to be decentralized and also extort people with a shutdown donation scheme in the same breath.

    Both of these things can’t be true.

      Doesn’t “decentralized” describe that application’s architecture? It means it doesn’t depend on central servers to send and receive messages. It’s not a claim about the organization that maintains it.

        If a single organization controls it but the architecture is over a large area then it’s distributed.

        Would you say someone who uses cloud flare is using a decentralized architecture?
