The White House has launched another taxpayer-funded television ad before the midterms, this time featuring imagery of President Donald Trump walking down a hall as audio plays of him saying “this is the final battle.”
“We will cast out the communist, Marxists, and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country. We will rout the fake news media, and we will liberate America from these villains once and for all,” Trump says in the ad, echoing comments he made during a Veterans Day speech in 2023.
“Final battle” as in he’ll be dead soon?
What Trump thinks the final battle is: the last election where the fate of not only the U.S. but also the entire world is decided (with epic music and fireworks)
What the actual final battle is: Cancer
Epic music? So “send in the clowns”, but done in the style of rammstein?
No we need something more epic sounding like “Entrance of the Gladiators”
I was thinking The Final Countdown while typing this. I mean this is in his head right, so he wouldn’t think of a song called “send in the clowns”.
Republicans also love to do the “This is the biggest and mostest election of our entire lives!” every two years, to whip their rube base into a mad dash for the polls.
Everyone does that and have done pretty much since democracy existed.
