Governor Hochul and Attorney General James announced a lawsuit against QCX LLC d/b/a Polymarket US (Polymarket) for running an illegal gambling operation in New York through its prediction market platform.
See Polymarket said that they weren’t gambling and then didn’t adhere to the laws and pay the taxes required for gambling companies. But they are a gambling company. And now they’re being sued because they were running an illegal gambling operation.
