Are you trying to say there are no voters between pure racists and informed people who are fully invested in the US political scene?
I’m trying to say it’s really fucking weird to think that liberals who aren’t dumb enough to fall for sexism ( kamala voters) aren’t HIGHLY unlikely to fall for racism (your so called ‘old’ liberals who need kamala’s endorsement to be accepting of abdul).
In so many words I’m saying your premise is fundamentally flawed and without merit.
There are more areas, other than social issues, that he is being attacked in.
Some people are still scared of the socialism/communism attack angle, which is a higher likelihood if they are from an older generation that was heavily exposed to that propaganda.
Kamala provides an ‘establishment’ backing that makes Abdul’s platform more acceptable/safer to people who do hold those views.
