Nicaragua maintains that German arms exports to Israel facilitated Gaza genocide as Germany’s tries to halt the case.

Germany is the second-largest supplier of arms to Israel after the United States.

The US and Germany are both signatories of the Genocide Convention. Has anyone brought a similar case against the US?

“Nicaragua’s conduct indicates that it was not interested in hearing Germany’s view on its allegations, but simply in bringing Germany before this court,”

Utterly pathetic statement. As if Nicaragua just one day decided to target Germany for absolutely no reason.

Oh good. This isn’t about throwing out the case of Israel’s genocide.

It’s just about a side quest accusing Germany of genocide for supporting the Israelis.

Still looking forward to the results of the Israeli case.

it can take until 2030 before a judgement is delivered.

The effort may be valid, the problem here is the proposer. Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega is not exactly famous for respecting human rights in his own country …

Fuck off. There is a goddamn genocide fueled by Germany. You claim to be about human rights yet Herr you are propaganzing against a country who want Germany to be held responsible for the mother of all crimes
