I caught on to Kaptain Ketamine’s fascism very late in the game, but I was never an actual fan. I worked with loads of tech people, see, and when I heard them speak and compared it to how Kaptain Ketamine spoke, I knew pretty much right from the start he didn’t know a damned thing; that he was just slinging jargon to baffle journalists with bullshit.
So as his increasingly obvious fascism was revealed, it wasn’t actually that huge a surprise for me, nor did it require me to rethink the world.
Not one thing. He dropped out of grad school, has no engineering degree, he just swoops in with Daddy money to call himself a “founder” retroactively. He does spew a lot of stupid ideas as novel.
