hi. i’m looking for a good launcher to use on my tablet. has a 10inch 2000x1200 screen and runs lineageos 18.1 (android 11).

right now i just use the default launcher trebuchet. it’s fine, but i don’t like how the app drawer works (animations…) and how there’s little customization options.

can’t really describe what i’m looking for, please just share the launcher you use. i’m fine with non-FOSS if they work nicely.

    Just gave Octopi a spin for the first time in ages. Seems solid - smooth, ad-free. Only thing I couldn’t figure out is doing custom backgrounds for icons (e.g., having a colored squircle behind Arcticons icons).

    A little more user-friendly than Lawnchair, but less polished than Nova. Not open source, but not (currently) owned by an ad company. It’s a nice middleground.
