I’m open to the argument that there are many precedents for the US going into many illegal wars of aggression, but it’s a wild take to not recognize that the American rhetoric has… taken a bit of a turn lately.
at least try to dress civilian deaths up as a regrettable necessity or the fault of evil individuals gone rogue
For example in Vietnam the USA did actually blame the death of civilians on the Vietcong by accusing them of using human shields. Israel claimed that the Palestinians voluntarily left the land .

I don’t see a big difference between no we didn’t kill and target innocent civilians it is just the woke media lying and yes we killed civilians but we didn’t mean it , it just that “terrorist” was hiding with them
