    In our current state; the lack of privacy, I challenge myself on why I need a newer similar model of phone. Like the number of apps I used has significantly decreased and continues to. Having the shiniest new toy is not with it, especially when it’s not novel.

      Better battery life and camera mostly.

      If your battery is good and you’re happy with your camera, there’s no reason to upgrade any more often than like 6-7 years on flagships these days. Cheap phones will actually get outdated in that time.
