I’m no detective, but judging by the way they can barely lift a hammer, you’re looking for a bunch of vegans.

If only they had managed to destroy the entire facility with its stock of robots and parts when they broke in. The demonstration might make a difference then.

Nothing is ever good enough for you people, is it?

People have massive protests which actually affect the bottom line? Oh well that doesn’t do anything, should do direct action.

People take direct action? Oh well that doesn’t affect the bottom line who cares.

Either way you get to sit on the toilet and pretend you know better and feel smug in your inaction.

Wishing that they had caused damage that would actually move the needle is being smug? I don’t think you know much about anything if that’s your stance.

I am all for demonstrations, protests, and direct action. Troglodytes like you just think- “ThIs GUy IsN’T MinDlEsSly AgReeInG WiTh mE!!!111!!1! >:(” Without actually considering that me wishing something went further, isn’t condemnation or criticism of the action taken. Fuck, you’re dumb.

Ya can’t just go “oh good someone doing something”. You’re like a spoiled child who isn’t even doing the work. You wish it caused more damage?

Go out and do some damage, coward.

My man literally said "oh yeah? You firebombed a Walmart huh, but you didn’t also use mortars or explosives so this isn’t good enough for my taste. "

To be fair That’s the headquarters. Actual manufacturing sites are completely unharmed by this. All they’ve done is damage some show models in the atrium of the headquarters and maybe spooked some suits.

If you want to make a difference, honestly crippling cloud service facilities and directly targeting Microsoft server farms is a better bet. No idea which one, so targeting fanuc data directly isn’t easy, but even crippling teams and outlook stopped work for a day when a storm knocked out power to Microsoft site in Colorado that. Pretty sure it was a mass reported issue, so not just my corporation impacted.

Or, if you wanna hit a manufacturing site, some maps snooping (our various other sites aren’t a secret. What they all do isn’t public knowledge but their existence isn’t) or poke about the offices at headquarters. Know how many processes maps and diagrams around our local plant have suppliers and sub assembly process sites for easy explanation to managers?

Yeah… Not sure why you would attack the display models at a headquarters if you are willing to do the crime and the time? Prob would have done more functional damage to productivity if they just destroyed the desktops, filing cabinets, and supply closet.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I’m not sure if that’s something I’d be happy catching trumped up terrorism charges over.

No- I said that this protest literally will not make a single change happen, because they didn’t do any lasting damage to the corp, their finances, or their leadership.

They did target the most sensitive parts of the installations, namely the glass screens and other glass parts in the demo factory. And they sprayed paint all over the place.

Destroying an industrial robot made out of metal is very hard. They made the right calls.
