A bit of a tangent, but it would have been nice if Quebec media were more accessible in other provinces. It would have been helpful in school both for vocabulary and pronunciation, and just a way to stay somewhat fluent in French, especially after graduating. It would also promote the Quebec dialect more over Parisian French.
The laws on francophone media aren’t the same in the rest of the provinces, that’s why none of the rest of Canada has the same access to Quebec media. We all relied on Radio Canada to secure licensing j til the 90s, and then we had TV4 and that’s it.
