The concept of a limited amount of sick days set by the company is so foreign and dystopian to me. Do they just act like people have autonomy over when they get sick? I’d rather be working than laying sick in bed, but I’m sure as hell not doing both at the same time.
My job doesn’t even give sick days. I got pointed cause I woke up feeling like shit and called them 2.5 hours before my shift started to say I couldn’t come in.
